Prof. S.A. Babarinde

Chairman, Board of Trustees of AAPTM

S.A. Babarinde, Ph.D. is Professor of Philosophy and Sociology of Education with research interests in the Pedagogies of Education and Endogenous Education in Africa. He has spent over three decades in higher education system in Nigeria and outside. He was once Head, Department of Teacher Education, Director, Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

He was Visiting Scholar to the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership Studies, College of Education, University of Iowa, USA (October – December 2009), Visiting Fellow, Centre for Teaching and Learning, University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada (May – June 2013), Interim CEO, to the African Higher Education Summit, with the theme Revitalizing Higher Education for Africa’s Future, March 10 – 12, 2015 in Dakar, Senegal and Visiting Scholar, Deusto International Tuning Academy, University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain – March – April, 2017 where he conducted study into Competency Based Education.

Professor Babarinde has collaborated with many institutions and organisations in Nigeria and outside in the areas of education in general and Pedagogy of higher education in particular. Some of these are Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, Edo University, Iyamho, Edo State, Nigeria, The DAWN Commission, Ibadan, Oyo State, Partnership in Social Science and Governance Research, (PASGR), Nairobi, Kenya, Capella University, USA, among others. He is current President, Philosophers of Education Association of Nigeria. He has over fifty academic publications in books and learned journals.

He serves as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of AAPTM.

Dr. Taofeek Akinola

President/CEO of AAPTM

Taofeek Akinola is a corporate trainer, trained teacher, former banker and project management education service provider. Until January 2015 when he resigned from banking, he was the acting head of E-Banking Operations, at Ecobank Nigeria. In that role, he was the initiator of the Cash-Backed MasterCard Processing Architecture and the Change Custodian for Nigeria during the Ecobank Group’s Multi-Billion Flexcube Core Banking Application Project. He also worked as resource person (trainer) for the E-Banking related training for fresh and existing staff of Ecobank Nigeria Ltd.

Between 2015 and 2019, he was into training and consulting and worked as project coordinator for National Workshop on Pedagogy of Higher Education, organised by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, University of Ibadan, Edo University, Iyamho and Chrisland University, Abeokuta. Through his Global Project and Consulting Academy, he has trained many professionals in PMP Certifications from International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), IBEDC, Stanbic IBTC, FCMB, Airtel, Virgo Nig. Ltd, and several companies.

He has also participated in several other projects including the Tieto Enator Group Switch (which powered Ecobank’s Verve cards across 27 African countries), Western Union Money Transfer reconciliation project, Naira Credit Card Exposure Remediation and Reconciliation project, China Union Pay (CUP) issuing and acquiring membership project, and so on.

He is a recipient of many service awards including Ecobank Best Team Award (Cards/E-Banking Operations Dept, 2010) and E-Banking Department’s Most Influential and Most Eloquent Staff. From Hallmark University’s Department of Business Administration where he briefly lectured and simultaneously coordinated the Sociology Department, he joined University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Education in 2019 and teaches there till date. He serves as the President/CEO of AAPTM.

Oluwatosin Babasanya-Craig

Oluwatosin Babasanya-Craig is a seasoned trainer, a certified corporate coach, and Interior designer. ‘Tosin is a trained Architect who has since transited into people management for over a decade now. Whilst working diligently on construction sites, she discovered she had a great passion for coaching people and helping them to achieve their goals, and she has since carved a niche for herself in this area of service.

Her quest for civility and best work practices birthed the desire to groom people from all works of life. Her research plus training competence spans several interests in Personality Development and Branding, Public

Speaking, Etiquette and Ethics, Motivation, Corporate Image, Teenage

Coaching, Education Management and Success Strategies.

Oluwatosin has diverse experience spanning various sectors, through her work with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Educational Institutions,

Governments, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Non-Governmental

Organisations (NGOs) in Nigeria as well as international partners and agencies. Today, along with her corporate coaching activities, Tosin manages the Nigeria operations of US based Performance Fact Inc., an education consulting and management firm.

Oluwatosin has received many service awards. One of the notable ones is the award for ‘The Most Valuable Facilitator’ for 2 years in a row in her education management practice with Lagos State. Oluwatosin is a validated Facilitator with some financial institutions in Nigeria. She is also a soft skills coach with The Lagos Business School.

Her signature product, MannersOnTheGoTM seeks to speak to the dwindling values in our society where manners and civility are concerned.

Mohammad Sada Jalal

Member

Mohammad Sada Jalal, a Commissioner at Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission is an associate member of both the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Architecture from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. Mohammad began his career with an Architectural firm Environment Seven Limited, Kaduna in 1992 and later joined former Afribank and subsequently worked with Diamond Bank and the former Savannah Bank, Reliance Bank, Equitorial Trust Bank and Ecobank in various capacities. Mohammad has over 26 years of valuable Banking work experience.

At Ecobank, Mohammad was first appointed as Zonal Head (North) in the SME Team and has subsequently held various positions within the Ecobank Group including Branch Manager, Country Head LEAN Transformation Project, Project Manager, Head – Property & Realty Services, Head – Ecobank Business Services (EBS), Head – Commercial Banking for North West, Zonal Head-Premier Banking, NW/NE and now Area Manager, Kaduna. Over his 27 years banking career, Mohammad has garnered various awards including: Leadership Award (Leadership & Vision) – Ecobank Nigeria Ltd, Managing Director’s commendation on Branch Performance – Reliance Bank Ltd, Managing Director’s Commendation – Savannah Bank Plc, CBN Clearing House Committee award – Diamond Bank Ltd, Best Trainee of the Year 1993 (Northeast Area Training Centre, Kano), and many more.

Mohammad has worked in Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, Abuja and Lagos. He has also visited every state capital and major cities in Nigeria as well as several other Countries in Africa and beyond. Mohammad has attended several trainings, seminars, conferences and workshops both within and outside Nigeria. Mohammad brings to the board of AAPTM diverse competences in Architecture, Banking & Finance, Project Management, Facility Management, Change Management, Leadership & Service Excellence, Property & Real Estate Management, Strategy Development & Implementation, Training and Development.

Lawrence Obi

Member

Lawrence Obi is a Card and Payment specialist, former banker, a certified Project Management Professional and an entrepreneur with over 15years experience. He has implemented several projects in the payment industry both local and international.

He is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and International Cards and Payment Professional. Lawrence Obi has vast experience in sales, business development and business analysis.

As a serial entrepreneur, he has setup several businesses and is currently the CEO of Connect Point Technology Solutions a Fintech company. He has written several articles for the global Project Management Community (www.pmi.org), he also provides professional project management trainings.

He also finds time to blog with over 50 articles on business and other topics. He is the author of Discover, Develop and Deploy which is available on amazon. Last year lawrenceobi.com was ranked among top 100 global business coach platforms. He also provides training to individuals and businesses.

Mr. Obi brings corporate training expertise and financial technology insights to the board of AAPTM.

Adelopo Abdulazeez

Member

Adelopo Abdulazeez is Principal Webmaster at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Education, University of Lagos, Lagos; B.Sc. Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Lagso, Lagos; NCE, Computer/Mathematics, Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka. His professional certifications include Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); Oracle Certified Associate (OCA); Building scalable Cisco internetwork; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Mr. Adelopo has participated in trainings on bandwidth management: Web server, DNS server, Radius server configuration, network monitoring tools such as RANCID, CACTI, NAGIOUS; GSM Radio and switching, BTS: Configuration/troubleshooting, Transmission basics PDH/SDH/VSAT, data services and GPRS, Introduction to 3G Network: UMTS; Partook in two months training in Oracle and Database administration; wireless Networking covering theoretical and practical RF engineering of Wi-Fi, Wimax, Gigalink and free space optics, installation of Antenna systems, Routers, general IP issues and RF safety; Network, essential and topology, configuration of CISCO Router and switches, VLAN, VTP, Trunking, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, Troubleshooting CISCO Routers and Switches.

Mr. Adelopo has led and participated in a number of projects such as the Configuration of a Web Server for University of Ibadan (May, 2010); configuration of a DNS server for University of Ibadan; development of an admission portal for the International school Ibadan, Ibadan (www.isi.ui.edu.ng) (April, 2010). He led the team of Web developers to design new websites for University of Ibadan, Ibadan (www.ui.edu.ng, www.agric.ui.edu.ng, www.art.ui.edu.ng, www.law.ui.edu.ng, and several others; Design and maintaining www.Basel.org.ng a non-governmental Organization website (April, 2010); Design and maintaining www.tmcng.net a non-governmental Organization website (April, 2010). Mr. Adelopo is a versatile trainer in many areas of technology.

Adedeji Olusegun Salisu

Member

Adedeji Olusegun Salisu graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, with a B.Sc. degree in Economics. He began his career at Soluas Associates, a vibrant, indigenous audit firm, as an Audit Trainee with responsibilities covering pre-audit analyses to establish scope of audit, computation of tax liabilities, raising tax assessment, analysis of banking data, and sundry taxpayer support services.

A few years later, he moved on to Law Union and Rock Insurance PLC as a Retail Marketer. In that role he advised clients on motor, home, fire and commercial Insurance schemes, responded to customers’ enquiries, advised clients on premium payment options and maintained accurate and relevant customer administrative records. In year 2008, he won the Marketer of the Year Award for the motor insurance category. Mr. Salisu later joined banking at Union Bank PLC in 2008, as a Front Office Teller/Customer Service Officer. He thereafter worked in the Advances Department of the bank where he was exposed to, and acquired important skills, competences and rudiments of recovery of delinquent loans.

After five years in banking, he partnered with Mr. Itua Martyn at Mizzy Projects Ltd, a firm that carries out cash recovery, repossession of vehicles and disposal of assets on for deposit money banks (MDB). Mizzy Projects Ltd managed MDB portfolios like Access Bank- Portfolio Size approximately N 57million (3 accounts), Stanbic IBTC Bank: Portfolio Size: N 220millon (approx. 250 accounts), United Bank of Africa- Portfolio Size: N 250milion (Approx. 200 accounts) and Union Bank PLC: Portfolio Size: N 200milion (5 accounts/ Property Disposal).

Mr. Salisu brings extensive marketing and administrative experiences to his BOT responsibility and the Membership Director role at AAPTM.

Enoch King-Olayinka

Member

Enoch King-Olayinka is a missionary to the less privileged, a prolific author, a social entrepreneur, and a gifted teacher. As a serial entrepreneur, he has helped to kick- start hundreds of schools which include Kings Queen International Creative College, Redeemers Ambassadors School, BrightForte School, Royal Prestige School and host of others, sitting as a member of Board of many schools, he is a committed to the course of the less privileged.

He is an alumnus of Ogun State University, where he studied English and education, graduating in 1998, and the University of Ibadan, where he bagged a M.Ed. in the year 2001. King was admitted by the Senate of Faith Foundation Fuller Theological Seminary to the degree of Doctor of Christian Education with Honoraria Causa on the 30th of November, 2018. He is also a member of some local and international professional bodies. He is the current President of the Old Students Association of his alma mater, the Ejigbo High Class ’93 of Ejigbo High School, Lagos.

King is a prolific author, and poet. He has written 23 books till date, which includes Power to Turn Your Situation Around, Become Smart, You can Achieve Anything, Overcoming the Danger of Unhappiness in Marriage, Talent and the Talented, The Secrets of the Rich Put in a Book, 10 Commandments of Parenting, and so on. His 24th book, ‘This Enemy Called Debts’, is coming out in the month of August, 2020.

King is a committed minister in The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and he holds excellence in the work place in high esteem.

Agnes Eke ATAMA-AKINOLA

Mrs. Agnes Eke ATAMA-AKINOLA is a trained teacher and entrepreneur. She holds B.Ed. Social Studies of the Lagos State University, Ojoo, Lagos and is a Member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. She brings extensive marketing and entrepreneurial competences to the AAPTM board.
