Course Description
Every training effort, whether Face2Face or Face2Screen has the features of a project. They have start and end dates (project schedule), intended learning outcomes (project result), project manager (training manager), budget (training costs), output (project result – new skills, knowledge, etc.), and constraints of time, budget and scope. Therefore, training programs are projects; a group endeavour carried out to deliver unique product, service or result. We explore in this module some innovative project management tools to help training managers (TM) to deliver training programs on schedule, on budget and to specification.
Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, learners should be able to:

Conceptualise training as a project and learn how to manage the project knowledge areas

Recognise the various skills and competences of a project manager

Deploy project management tools, techniques and document for executing training programs
